Animazement is Raleigh's premier Japanese animation and culture convention held annually at the Raleigh Convention Center. The event features concerts, educational panels, a dealers room with limited merchandise, artist alley, and unique artwork. Programming includes extensive cosplay events (masquerade, chess, craftsmanship contests), cultural activities, gaming rooms, karaoke, a maid cafe, AMV contests, and special guest appearances.
